" Yo freak! watch your steps! haha as a superhero you should have mind your surroundings, well guess what? who is the superhero now? because i'm the one who is taking down the freak ones, remember that freaky boy" Yup a high school student that wanted to become a superhero, i mean seriously that is the dream of a child, he is just living on his fantasy. So he got his own superhero name, The Freaky Boy, because the only superpower he has is being freak. He always got bullied by me and my friends, and the one who always bully him and who said that to him is Roy Harper, he kind of the leader of this gang. I'm a part of this just because i don't want to be seen as a loser and i just want to having fun and as long as the bully doesn't cross the line, beside it's a normal thing in high school life. And The Freaky Boy? from what i heard, he doesn't socialize well, a nerd, and living on his fantasy on superhero thing. Ya that's why he always the number one target of our gang.

One day when we were bullying someone, then The Freaky Boy came, and he just stood up against us to protect the boy that got bullied. Of course we are laughing at him, he act like he can do something to us and he thinks that we are afraid to him just because he got nerve to stood up against us. And without hesitation we make a black-and-blue mark on his face and maybe all over his body. After that Roy asked me to keep an eye on him, because he planning something not good if The Freaky Boy bothering us again, and ya we just left him. I followed him when he is on way home and something happened that makes me both confused and surprised, he saw a woman is confronted by two people that it looks like wants to rob her and surprisingly when the robber gets the bag of the woman, he is running through to the robber and confront them, i mean seriously what is wrong with him, he barely can't walk well by himself after what we did to him and now he decided to run through them to help the woman, and guess what? he won and it surprise me as hell too. The other day, when i drove i see him and suddenly remembering what he did and all that just scattered as i step on the break because the motorcycle in front of me crashed with another motorcycle too, and then The Freaky Boy just run to the motorcycle, helping them when there's no one that wanted to help, when anybody just watch crash and do nothing. At night, i'm still thinking about what he did, i mean not just that i often saw him helping blind people to cross the road, helping people with disabilities. I feel wrong, i started to think that he doesn't deserve what we did to him and tomorrow is the day that he will got bullied, much worst. I confused what i'm suppose to do. But those are my friend and if i betray them i won't have any friends and i will be seen as a loser, in the other hand they always threat me like i'm not their friends and come to me if they wanted something, but after all The Freaky Boy has a good heart and he doesn't deserve this! well at least i'll try to hold them up.

The day has come, and we planning to do that after school, i look at him and he is happy as usual, he doesn't know what will happening to him and i feel guilty. I tried to hold them up but they wouldn't. The school time has passed and The Freaky Boy show up " Wait okay? just listen to me, he hasn't doing anything okay, we don't have to do this" i try again to hold them up. "What?! you dare? you become soft ever since i told you to keep an eye on him! you become as weak as he is!" Roy said, while trying to grab my shoulder. "SOFT?! WEAK?! ME?! IT WAS YOU! YOU ARE THE ONES WHO BULLIED THE WEAK ONES IT MEANS YOU ARE WEAKER THAN THEM!" i shouted. " HOW DARE YOU?!" while punched me in the face. Suddenly The Freaky Boy come to hold him up " wait you are all supposed to be friends and friends don't do things like that" he said. "Friends? he never is" Roy said and the others continue to punch both me and The Freaky Boy while The Freaky Boy shown a little bit resistance but in the end we just got beated by them. After that they just left us black-and-blue. "Wai... what? why are you defend me? you could just walk away" me to The Freaky Boy. "Well from my perspective you needed help" he replied. "Uh i see.. haha the hero huh?" while laughing at him. We both laughing and going back home.

And for that i realizes that he actually has a superpower that anyone couldn't realize. It's his heart, his compassion to others, willing to help whether he can help or not. And we become a close friend, really close. I don't care what people say even my old gang always bothering us, but we got each other back up. Remember the name, Grayson, Richard Grayson.
